New monthly membership plans

As of April 1st Bishopton lane have introduced new monthly memberships. This is to coincide with the new NHS contract changes.
We are NOT going private, this is to help patients maintain the service they are accustomed too. To find out more just click on the "MEMBERSHIPS" tab on the home page.

New Locum Dentist

We will be having a lovely locum dentist joining us for a few sessions throughout March and April.
Roshan Singh GDC 193549 qualified from Newcastle university in 2010. He has a special interest in Orthodontics, Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry. I hope you all make him feel welcome.

Hygiene students

We currently have year three hygiene students with us from Teesside University on a Monday and Wednesday.
They will be on placement with us until June 2026. Hygienists can carry out examinations, x-rays,fissure sealents,all aspects of cleaning as well as periodontal care and provide patients with personalized advice on brushing, flossing, diet, smoking cessation to improve oral hygiene.
We will gain verbal consent if we feel you would be suitable to visit one of our students.

Hello,

We've had a lot of change happening in the practice over the last 6 months that we thought we'd update people on!

We're very excited to welcome a new dentist Zoe. Zoe has been qualified since 2016 and is very kind and friendly and we can already see patients being totally at ease seeing her. Libby is off at the moment after having a back operation, she is recovering well and hopes to be back to work in the next couple of months,

Sadly, we said goodbye to our long time receptionist Gabrielle as she opted for a career change. We have welcomed a new lead receptionist Allison so say hello when you are next in! Emma our practice manager has been enjoying her maternity leave after having her baby boy she will be back with us soon!

Most excitingly, our third surgery is well underway we hope for it's completion by end of Autumn. Which intern will provide disable access and hopefully we will be able to take on some new patients. Keep an eye out on our social media for more updates.

Due to corona virus restrictions , we are unable to see new patients , except for emergency treatment .If you have a genuine dental emergency, please try to call us first thing on morning as our emergency appointments quickly get filled .

We continue to operate a full NHS service to our existing patient base. These may operate slightly different to normal however as treatments can no longer be carried out at your examination appointment. This due to government restrictions regarding coronavius.

Should you be booked back in for essential nhs treatment, you can expect longer than usual waiting times and that we will be wearing enhanced PPE - personal protective equipment. Your treatment may be booked , if appropriate with one of our lovey therapists.

Private treatments are also available on request.

Any patients that we have not seen at the practice in the last 5 years would be treated as a new patient. We are currectly at capacity for new NHS patients.

Affordable Private Dentistry

Our recent decision to start opening on a Friday, especially for private and independent treatment, has proved very popular and has allowed the practice to welcome new patients.

Friday appointments are available for both existing and new patients but are only available on a private or independent basis, with independent appointments offering very affordable private dentistry with check ups at only £18.80. Private and Independent appointments are also available Monday to Thursday.
