We currently have year three hygiene students with us from Teesside University on a Monday and Wednesday.
They will be on placement with us until June 2026. Hygienists can carry out examinations, x-rays,fissure sealents,all aspects of cleaning as well as periodontal care and provide patients with personalized advice on brushing, flossing, diet, smoking cessation to improve oral hygiene.
We will gain verbal consent if we feel you would be suitable to visit one of our students.

Hello,

We've had a lot of change happening in the practice over the last 6 months that we thought we'd update people on!

We're very excited to welcome a new dentist Zoe. Zoe has been qualified since 2016 and is very kind and friendly and we can already see patients being totally at ease seeing her. Libby is off at the moment after having a back operation, she is recovering well and hopes to be back to work in the next couple of months,

We continue to operate a full NHS service to our existing patient base. These may operate slightly different to normal however as treatments can no longer be carried out at your examination appointment.  This due to government restrictions regarding coronavius.

Our recent decision to start opening on a Friday, especially for private and independent treatment, has proved very popular and has allowed the practice to welcome new patients. 

Friday appointments are available for both existing and new patients but are only available on a private or independent basis, with independent appointments offering very affordable private dentistry with check ups at only £18.80. Private and Independent appointments are also available Monday to Thursday.
